Kazakhstan and Georgia: Partnership and Friendship in the International Arena

On May 5, 2023, a meeting was held at the Embassy of Kazakhstan with the new Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Latvia Irakli Kurashvili,  DKNews.kz reports.

Ambassador of Kazakhstan Timur Primbetov congratulated his Georgian colleague on the start of his official activities in Latvia and wished him success in his work.

During the friendly conversation, the diplomats noted the high level and constructive nature of relations between Kazakhstan and Georgia across the entire spectrum of bilateral cooperation, and also exchanged views on the main areas of development of Kazakh-Latvian and Georgian-Latvian cooperation.

T. Primbetov told his interlocutor about the socio-economic and political transformations in Kazakhstan, which are being carried out under the leadership of the Head of State. He informed about the upcoming major international events in our country in May-June this year: the II EU-Central Asia Economic Forum and the Astana International Forum “AIF-2023”, which will be attended by representative delegations from Latvia.

At the end of the meeting, the interlocutors agreed to continue regular contacts through the embassies.
