The Office of the Holy Synod of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church (BOC) made an announcement that Patriarch Neophyte of Bulgaria was hospitalized due to a lung disease.
Therefore, they called on the faithful to “wholeheartedly pray for the speedy recovery” of the Patriarch.
Also, they warned the devout flock to “rely solely on the information provided by the Holy Synod of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church”.

The Office of the Holy Synod of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church announces that Patriarch Neophyte of Bulgaria and Metropolitan of Sofia was hospitalized in the Military Medical Academy (MMA) – Sofia, due to a lung disease.
